Matthew 19:14 says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” This verse beautifully captures Jesus’ heart for children — His invitation for them to come close, to be loved, and to experience His grace. It reminds us that faith isn’t about age or status but about having a heart that trusts simply and sincerely. At Hawthorne Baptist, we take this call seriously by creating spaces where children can learn about Jesus, feel valued, and know they belong.
